Kerins was appointed Chief Operating Officer late 2007 I think by the then CEO, Brian Andrews. Andrews was sacked during 2008 by Hallam soon after he (Hallam) was put on the board by Fitzpatrick. Hallam then promoted Kerins to CEO - but in name only. He was effectively Hallam's messenger boy. Hallam gagged him and he was not allowed to talk to shareholders (as Andrews previously had).
Perhaps this treatment from Hallam pissed Kerins off enough for him to decide to derail SBN. Tht and the opportunity with O8 (which he is now apparently capitalising on).
However you look at it, they were a talentless and/or corrupt bunch, not worthy of our support.
The markets and technology were. But not the board or management team.
