"Michael Anderson said the company canvased its shareholders and believes it has received approval from 47% of shareholders, with a bare majority of 50% plus one vote needed for the sale to go ahead"
Hmnn I hope they did the canvassing after they announced it to market ! LOL
I really cant see how it can only be worth 67c with cash backing of 62c ?
Have a look at EQN - the minmetals offer is $7 but its been trading in the $7.30 to $7.50 range since the offer was announced - clearly the market expects a superior offer to emerge ?
By extension the market is factoring in a lot of downside to EXS ? Why ?
FIRB surely wont be an issue that should be a rubber stamp - even if IVA get their way and the whole $175m needs to go back to shareholders for them to get the deal over the line it still wouldn't be a bad result as white dam and royalty cash flow will more than fund exploration etc.
Could it be the Xmen suppressing the price in order to get the vote over the line ?
Got me it looks a gift at this price.
