The share price of Ivanhoe(IVN Canada) has risen dramatically,50% over the past 2 weeks when it was about $5 US. Last thurs I had to sell some at $ 6.8 , friday rose to $6.98, last night to $8.46. This a remarkable rise given that gold & the dow sas been terrible this last week. The SP seems to be returning to its normal range about $10 in good times. I don't know the reason behind it- but am hoping for an interim solution to be reached so that the Turquoise Hill project finally begins production. There has been at least one favourable news article published lately about Mongolia's good prospects.
I apologise to IVA holders as I don't hold the Oz based shares, only the "Mongolian"ones. I didn't have any spare cash, but I saw today that the mother ship holds 87% of IVA so I guess I am covered. It's good to see at least one Oz jnr mining stock doing well.
