Well its reliable and available where I live, I dont use it, but my kids do.
We arnt in Toyko or Singapore, we have a lesser population density, public transport could always be better, but we have it here, and its pretty good IMO.
Your link was purely political, and was about the month of may 2007, Im no fan of Brumby or the Libs for that matter.
I dont think that public transport competes that much with eastlink, If I worked in the city, I would certainly catch a train, most other areas, I would probably use a car.
And if we go out as a family, we always use a car, simple.
