the chances of a second offer materializing, are exceedingly remote. due dilligence ??? - what due dilligence. the reality is simple - if anybody was interested in andean, most of the work could have been done in a week or so - from all the publically available information, as all the drill holes, with mineralization, could have been plotted up - even if andean had not conveniently supplied all the plotted up information. it does not take 4 months to assess, a company, whose only real asset, is nothing more than a bit more than a well advanced exploration play, with an INFERRED resource of 800,000 oz. a site visit could provide some visual evidence of other structures. or veins, or whatever. perhaps andean should take the plunge, and drill these other targets, in a meaningfull way. watso has no idea as to what sort of equipment that andean are useing, but one good rc hole a day, should be possible - so in one month, they should be able to drill 30 holes - that should give some good indications. the fact that there is no offer, after 4 months, pretty well means that there will not be an offer. a cash bid is simply out of the question, as andean simply not worth $100m in cash - which would be the present market cap
just as a thought, but if andean were a private show, looking for a stock exchange listing, and by providing the independent geologist, with all the information, the independent geologist would probably not spend more than a week or two, in assessing the information, and write up his report -
