2017 has been a good year for Santos and I expect/hope that the board will declare a dividend in February 2018.
My guesstimate is that they will announce a 10 Aussie cent per share dividend as part of the 2017 annual report.
My logic is that the Underlying Net Profit for 2017 will be around USD 400M (150M already announced for the first half and say 250M for the second half).
The dividend policy is to pay around 40% of UNP - that is USD 160M; or AUD 200M.
Divided by the 2.083 billion shares on issue; that is 10 cps.

Any thoughts?
