Hi Gressie,
I look at stocks as they stand today, at the moment all the bad news, the small revenue fall & the large SPC write down have now all been mostly factored in,
This being reflected in the last 9 month period, in which the stock fell from a high of $15.14 to a low of $10.90,
The good news for you Gressie, is it looks like the bad news is over for now,
There's a reason they selected a CEO from grain corp, and that is to turn this bottler company into a 'global manufacturer that will reap the bulk of its earning outside of Australia'. Coca Cola sells itself, its a forever brand but the next big thing is Food production for the world, and in time Australia will see it self in prime position, we are in the gearing up phase now.
Gressie, if you haven't sold your shares than you haven't lost anything, CCL is a long term growth company. and within the next 10 years there no reason why this shouldn't be sitting way more than double its current share price, with a dividend of 36+ cents.
You wont get rich over night with this one, but if you have the patients and the emotional control, its a long term winner,
All in my opinion - DYOR
