A smallcap which I found interesting and worthy of consideration is Volpara Health Technologies (VHT).
Recognia has found this to be technically worthy.
On the fundamental side, VHT
- Is in the medical technology business with AI algorithm software that helps early detection of breast cancer
- In Sep 2018, received FDA clearance for technologies used in its Volpara software in clinical application making it the first real-time decision support product for mammography designed to use quality control feedback to improve breast care for women whilst improving the financial performance of breast imaging clinics
- It now has penetration rate of 5% of all women in the US and this increasing to 7% in FY19 with an average ARPU of US$2.50 [small charge but recurring and across a very large addressable market]
- Has a market cap approx. $200m
- Harbour Asset Management has recently taken a substantial interest
- Almost NZD$2m per quarter cash sales receipts and ARR of NZD 5.6m growing by 85% shows market traction for its product/service, TCV YTD NZD10.8m
- Excellent 83% Gross Margin
Volpara Health Technologies Ltd forms bullish "Continuation Wedge" chart pattern Mar 05, 2019
Recognia has detected a "Continuation Wedge (Bullish)" chart pattern formed on Volpara Health Technologies Ltd (VHT:ASX). This bullish signal indicates that the stock price may rise from the close of 1.19 to the range of 1.70 - 1.80. The pattern formed over 83 days which is roughly the period of time in which the target price range may be achieved, according to standard principles of technical analysis.
Tells Me: After a temporary interruption, the prior uptrend is set to continue. A Continuation Wedge (Bullish) represents a temporary interruption to an uptrend, taking the shape of two converging trendlines both slanted downward against the trend. During this time the bears attempt to win over the bulls, but in the end the bulls triumph as the break above the upper trendline signals a continuation of the prior uptrend.
This bullish pattern can be seen on the following chart and was detected by Trading Central proprietary pattern recognition technology.
