It took me the day, but I caught up on about three weeks or more worth of your posts on this thread, and as always, was a great read - and brilliantly informative.
Those two posts from marketoracle.co.uk were nice side pieces you added in and I forwarded them on to my (retired) father who has taken up options trading on the SP500 to go alongside with his golf lol.
Glad you made a post on Yowie also. I was in it from the start and actually living in New York during 2015/2016 and took photos of Yowies in shops. I started a thread called "Yowie and competition in New York" (which has a hell of a lot of 'eyeballs' also) and uploaded plenty of pics and market information from New York and eventually from around the US, all while watching the SP increase. I made a nice profit on the way up, only to buy back in and watch it all disappear (and plenty more). It was a great lesson in share trading for me and I will never hold onto a stock without a stop-loss in place in the future.
What was funny about Yowie is that I caught the entrance of Kinder Joy - the competition from Ferrero Rocher - to the US market that helped kill off Yowie's growth. I uploaded the pics and we all sort of brushed it off - how silly we were - because six months later they announced it had greatly affected Yowie's sales. The SP tanked.
When I returned from the US in late 2017 I went to the AGM in Sydney. The chairman tried to kick me out (for my age, I think, I was 24 at the time). Luckily I was friends with Trish Fields, one of the directors who I had met up with in New York a couple years prior for coffee to discuss the company and I was allowed to stay after they had a brief discussion. It was absolute hell-fire at the AGM when it got going. Shareholders standing up and yelling at all the directors (all on about a million dollars each) - it was a great watch.
Anyway, congrats on the double-bagger on 4DS. I took a pass on it after I saw you mention it (silly me) - hopefully you're still holding and it hits those 13 cent highs you mentioned. I managed to catch the runs on SIS and EM1O this week for a tidy profit myself - got out just before they crashed. I'm also holding onto 5GN, which is well into the green now but I think has plenty more to run and RNU, which is slightly in the red and can not hold any SP gains with the amount of shares on issue it has. It's been very frustrating.
Happy weekend 1ronnie.
