That should have been done years ago. I spoke to a couple of the Baskin Robbins Franchisees today and they are very happy to see the back of Allied Brands.

They aren't so confident that Dunkin Brands will run the show for long, it would take a large injection of capital to get the brand back on it's feet and it's not a very profitable business model. Costs to bring product from the US and Canada where just about everything is sourced from, even cones and containers (all the ice cream is produced in Canada)make it too expensive compared to other brands.
