One thing I have found interesting—
Back in July , CCE was waiting w baited breath to hear whether they would land the 100 MW solar/battery in SA.
As we all know, Elon Musk swept and landed the contract based on a “100 days or its free” promise.
Ever since then, CME seems to be in a state of apathy.
I wonder if Carnegie Wave was aware of the 100MW battery tender long ago, even before tender was publicized, and they moved to purchase EMC to try to land that contract, and those like it coming down the pipeline.
When Tesla grabbed the contract, and the revenues that (will) accompany it , CCE lost their ability to finance EMC.
Any thoughts appreciated.
