Have to say, Iran’s man at OPEC has a point:
According to the Iranian official, OPEC will not accept the U.S. request because “OPEC will not accept such a humiliation. How arrogant and ignorant one could be (to) underestimate the history of 60 years’ cooperation among competitors.”
Of course they won’t, what was Trump thinking/tweeting? Sauds need to look like US puppets in front of their friends and/or enemies, like they need more sand.
Brent weekly chart looks like a strong enough uptrend Channel, but Iranians might have to wait until next year:
