Has anyone seen the Italian natural gas price recently (click on "2 years" to see the chart)?
Up 60% YoY, 47% in the last six months.
According to experts in Italy, this is due to growth in Asian demand following the shift from coal to gas, the increase of the brent price due to oil storage decrease in the US, and a decrease in gas storage capacity in Europe.
