It's my opinion that the share price is not directly to do with the company, even though it is many years since it put anything like a run on the scoreboard. And I reckon it's not directly to do with the ground, even though they haven't turned up anything better than a faint smell of a find so far, in any of their projects. And it's probably not the management either, even though their geologist is in the habit of throwing his clothes off in excitement and running around the tenement shrieking "EUREKA" when he finds a red crayon mark on a drill core.
I think it's mainly down to the condition of the market at the moment.
Gold might be a good hedging element against current global conditions. But a micro-cap gold explorer five years out from production isn't going be of the slightest use as a gold position. Also, if they hit gold that will just trigger years of dilution for drilling and analysis! Market has absolutely zero interest in goldies who aren't already producing. Best you can do with these realistically is frequent pip trades for a quick, small profit each time.
I have another goldy:
o 1Moz shallow (<10m) maiden resource; 1g/t cut-off, open at depth (90m) along strike in 3km zone
o Extra 12km mineralisation along strike with good augur and RC hits
o Parallel mineralised zones either side of resource with good augur and RC hits
Market is barely fluttering at the milestone announcements, so it's hard to even get a pip trade in!
The market is wearing short glasses at present, not long ones. I suspect that all this talk about whether the projects are any good, or what's in the ground is all a pointless waste of time.
Trade the pips or put it in the drawer... whatever suits your temperament best... but do something else good with your life while you do it because you could easily grow old and die before this stock sees 10c again.
