There is a giant problem to the statement "it does this every year".

If you look at past years only millions of dollars trade per day, and every year less money turns over, till you have less than a million trading.  if you look at bitcoin now its many billions traded each day.

A ponzi ends when the new money coming in has grown to its maximum intake of new investors and stops increasing, as you dont have enough money being fed in anymore to pay out previous investors causing a collapse.

All past years it was only a small amount of people buying in, this year everyone knows about it, from your milk man, to your hair dresser, to your plumber, to the taxi driver, to the other guys in the office. Everyone who was going to buy has now bought.

The only way it can bounce back up to $20K and go higher is if you somehow find at lease twice the amount of new people to buy again compared to last years run up.

    this is not bouncing back
