Yes gettting reimbursement/funding for new tests in the institutional settings and other agencies has many hurdles. Getting regulatory approval is only the first step. A product will not "take off" until the specialised commitees which usually are stacked with conservative clinicians as well as the "bean counters" finally are convinced of the cost / benefits.
