Four nickel smelters in China will cut over 5,000 tonnes in December

Three nickel smelters in China will cut 5,000 tonnes of output in December between them and another smelter will reduce production by 20%, the companies said.
Jinchuan Group will cut nickel metal production by 2,000 tonnes in December, and also reduce the volume of its own low-grade ore that it exploits and the amount that it buys from outside suppliers in 2016 in a process that starts on December 1, according to Jinchuan’s website. Tsingshan Group will reduce domestic production by 2,000 tonnes of nickel metal in December, and will also cut global nickel pig iron production by 30% (including at its plant in Indonesia)...
