PEB uses Midkine in their CXBladder tests - which have been scientifically proven to be the best in the market (all 4 of them!) and they have also featured in the top urological related journals/magazines/conventions etc.

And yet...despite the above - PEB, after some years (and many, many user tests), have still not got CMS or Kaiser Permanente to the point where PEB are receiving total reimbursement or full revenue potential (even though they have burnt their way through nearly $100m in cash so far). I am just hoping they don't go bust as the big wait continues....

There are 10,000 urologists in the US alone and I would guess a large proportion of those will now be aware of how CxBladder can help their patients - so I don't think it is ignorance. There might be an argument for arrogance however.

The cynical side to me suspects that if a US company owned the midkine patents or if CxBladder was invented in the US, this story would be a whole lot different.
