CHZ continue to report highly encouraging results from their Kestanelik Project in NW Turkey. A mild reaction to the share price but it should be remembered that CHZ is often very thinly traded with weak market depths and would be one of the more dangerous gold stocks to attempt to day/short-term trade. Comments from Rick Valenta in the announcement indicate that the Kestanelik resource is likely to grow and whilst CHZ isn’t dirt cheap it has momentum, an existing resource to build on and is operating in Turkey which is gaining recognition as an excellent country for gold explorers/producers. Highlights

Chesser Resources Ltd (ASX:CHZ) has received assay results for a further 25 holes from its current 15,000 metre drill program which commenced in October 2012.
Highlights include:

??15.5 metres at 10.2 g/t gold including 6.5 metres at 18.6 g/t gold.

??5 metres at 7.2 g/t gold including 3 metres at 11.6 g/t gold;

??5.5 metres at 3.6 g/t gold including 2.4 metres at 5.9 g/t gold.

??21 metres at 1g/t gold from surface including 1.7 metres at 4.7 g/t gold
?
??3.9 metres at 66.9 g/t silver and 1.5 metres at 84.7 g/t silver in newly identified outcropping veins approximately 2.5 kilometres to the east of the previous main area of drilling, indicating significant extensions of the mineralised system

??6,500 metres of drilling now completed in the 15,000 metre program, with results released from the first 31 holes totalling 4,800 metres.

??23 of the 31 holes drilled in this campaign have intercepted veins with significant gold mineralisation

??Drilling is continuing to focus on extensions to known veins, high grade gold intercepts from scout drilling and other higher priority targets. The average hole depth is less than 250 metres, with the campaign focused on identified near-surface mineralisation to support initial development of open cut mining.
