All quiet on the Western Front is how it is with UXA. The MD is gone and with him all the on-the-ground information.
The MD was fronting the sale of GAA Wireline, the all important asset advertised for sale. I thought two companies on the ASX were interested but now I've no idea.
Chairman Neill Arthur is the only long termer left now and there is zero chance of the 'old war horse' giving anything away.
UXA must get the Annual report out and an ASX quote again to satisfy the lenders.
A big worry all round, at least there is some cash from GAA Wireline USA sale and income from use of the PFN Tool technology on loan. Also sale of SA tenements to Straits though most will not be paid right away. Profitability of GAA Wireline should be OK with ongoing contracts.
