Exceed;
If your ‘renting it’ mindset satisfys you so be it and good luck with consoling yourself.
Honiara is not endowed with contractors who have specialised mining machinery plant sitting on hand for rental purposes. Your are lucky to buy off the shelf an air filter for a 40 hp Honda or Yamaha outboard and these 2 dominate the market there.
Move on to the ‘ barge’ and ‘AVQ’s announced 1ST ORE SHIPMENT IS SCHEDULED FOR END MARCH ‘19. This is AVQ ‘s stated ‘1st ore shipping’ deadline date.
How do satisfy yourself with the total CONTRADICTION where AVQ stated in their last public RELEASED STATEMENT, when coming out of their most recent trading halt, where AVQ stated that the FUNDS TO BE REALISED FROM THE PENDING FINANCE & OFFTAKE AGREEMENT (which has a 90 day due diligence lead time and means the funds are not guaranteed by either party) but assuming the funds will materialise into AVQ’s bank account, and AVQ SAID IN THAT RELEASE part of those funds will used to finance the barge and loading plant acquisition costs to facilitate the 1st ore shipment. Under this AVQ announcement the 1st ore loading / shipment is approx July ‘19 and that does not allow for any lead time for AVQ to
1: acquire from somewhere on the globe those barges and then
2: relocate by sea the barges to SI, clear customs and then transport same to San Jorge for operational purposes.
Then ones hopes there is ‘dry ore and loading infrastructure’in place to load with.
I have not created this contradiction, AVQ HAS DUE TO THEIR OWN PRESS RELEASES.
