The double top is I believe busted with a convincing move today. With regards to a TO, reality is that no one is going to pay a big premium unless they know the coal can be moved in bulk. For this to occur we need the River to be approved as a barging option. RIV have been giving hints of the plan to restore the Zambizie to its former glory in the recent presentations and studies into this option are ongoing. News may not be too far away on this front. One of the recent presentation had the following update on the barging timelines Key Completion Milestones
Prefeasibility Study Dec 2010
Environment and Social Impact Assessment
(ESIA) Submission Jan 2011
FS Study for investment decision Mar 2011
Target Date for Environmental Approval Jun 2011
Target Commencement of Barging Operations Late 2012 / Early 2013
We do have a corner stone investor in CCCC who bring significant barge and port technical expertise and experience. The ability and desire are there, oh so to is the ambition .... I note that the design work for the barges and tugs for the operation have also been complete ...lol...
There is so much to look forward to over the next 12 months With 2 x Tier 1 projects on the go and our first exports out of this area 2011 will be a fantastic year. An announcement on a new JV partner for its TeteEastlicenses will mean a 3rd 1 tier project to look forward to. No wonder things are rosy
PS Nippon steal just took up more acreage next door :)
