my head says that if a family needs to live in a house, and there are 10 families, then you need 10 houses.
I wonder how many families there are in australia at present ..........to work out how many houses we actually need ............. cos i see a lot of water-front neg geared property that is basically empty all year but available for "rental" ......... this new proposal would make that same property less attractive to most investors to buy I reckon without the current tax deductions .........
unless the house had to pay its own way ......... and that may mean the weekly $10K rent may have to get lowered??
