Funny how some people are not use to seeing the reality of things.
I worked in a shearing team when I was young. The contractor use to tell the farmer what sheep he wanted butchered for the team to eat and the farmer cut its throat, hung it up and butchered it.It was an experience for me the first time I saw it. A lot of these type of properties were too far from a town to go buying the meat. Why would you buy it anyway when you have it freshly killed and cooked by a good cook. You had to be a good cook on a shearing team or you didnt last long.
