Also agree FGX has a bright future and hold accordingly. A rare opportunity to get quality Mgrs without much of the fee drag on performance. Of course the Fundies can leave anytime they choose but given the Philantropy nature of FGX this is less likely as it is not a good look. Plus there will be others lining up to take the place of any who exit given the favourable promotion and some do have a genuine desire to engage in Philantropy. Not uncommon amongst the wealthy.

Would seem a great time for those who don't already own FGX to accumulate. With option expirary only a few weeks away and price retreating close to issue price of $1.10 ($1.115 yesterday) current option holders I imagine are keen to extract what little value they can. Hence despite the current overall market strength FGX will likely remain under pressure until options expire. Although I'm hoping that a sizable amount of options expire worthless to reduce the impact of dilution. Not very charitable of me I admit. Depends if an underwriter pops up to save the day? Barring a general market correction it would appear reasonable to assume as others have stated that price should gain upward momentum after option expirary. The lure of the forthcoming dividend will also be helpful.

Also hold FGG which has been trading well below issue price recently. International fund Mgrs in particular seem to go through good and bad patches so hopefully the variety of Mgrs and different styles might provide some consistency of returns. Might not shoot the lights out but hopefully the downside is better protected as well. And of course one would hope the dividend (inc franking) is more consistent than some of the existing International LICs.
