Re the Loop thing, the 400+ would only be the start and that is what interests me.
They took a lot longer than expected to bed down the technology in the field trails etc. When they first announced the tie up with VMT, they projected that during the field trials and initial rollout they would need 100s (in line with the projections for the next few quarters). Subsequently they were estimating 6000 (yep!) pa for 5 years (and then the cycle would start again and parts would enter the $ scenario for vmt as well).
In any case, since then the projections for the 'share' segment (and the uptake of e-vehicles) have grown and is set to boom and if vmt can ride the wave with mobs like Loop and GoKube then that would be sort of grouse.
I am encouraged by the the use of the vmt scooter in Loop's latest release but in the absence of an announcement by VMT, I won't count the chickens just yet. Thing is that CUx model (and as I suspect the 'soon to be announced' - my expectations I should stress - jointly produced variant) would be great fit for share segment and the providers in that space.
Also wondering if there will be link to the share segment by Greenmo. They are relaunching website in a week and , as I said earlier, the startegic investment by Rabo bank, might see them be more 'adventurous'.
