This is simply research "on integrin binding domains. VF001 has such a domain for facilitating cell adhesion to the wound bed. FTT is a world leader in the use of these binding domains in woundcare."

This may help understand what Integrin Beta 3 is, how it works, and why it is so important to FTT VF001: ​

"Integrin alpha-V/beta-3 (ITGAV:ITGB3) is a receptor for cytotactin, fibronectin, laminin, matrix metalloproteinase-2, osteopontin, osteomodulin, prothrombin, thrombospondin, vitronectin and von Willebrand factor. ​
