newB this just means ERG was asleep at the wheel....

In these sort of projects competent project staff are in touch with the client at all levels each day....you know if the client is unhappy and you work something out that day.

Clients only move to this sort of action when no-one is talking to no-one.....and no-one is listening. (Speculation on my part from previous experience)

If you have a job that is crucial to your companies survival...as this one was....you live at work.
