dreambuyer, I would have thought the economic situation might hit DLX hard, too, but I recall reading an article that said that during hard times- recesssion and so on- people still like to put a lick of paint on their walls. Whilst the can't afford to entirely renovate when times are tough, apparently they still paint! It's more the price of raw materials that affects Dulux, I think.
When DLX fell to $2.42, it seemed cheapish, but I considered that it was so new, that it hadn't had enough cycles in the publicly listed market to show its real "floor price". However, it did bounce off there and $3 is the new normal, it seems. It has delightful liquidity, too- just trades every second or so.
I'm not ramping with the above, because as I said my shares will be taken soon, and also it hasn't really tested being above $3, so it's hard to know how much give it has left. I tell ya, though, if it goes to $2.42 again, I will be buying with both hands, arms, legs, ears pinned back, and all body parts in motion.
