DC and toph, I have to give credit where credit is due here. It's fair to say that you both have pretty much spot on with your outlook on how the BMG fiasco would affect the share price and I really must applaud you both for sticking around and giving another opinion on these matters.

It is pretty clear out of all of this that failing to disclose price sensitive matters on CAP's part has really torn this stock to pieces, and I trust that if we all knew how heavily the share price would drop purely from fear alone on this matter, we would have stepped to the sidelines a long time ago.

    The beauty of hindsight hey...

That said, I do still maintain what I have said all along that this matter is merely a short term blip on a long term radar. Yes DC, $300k should not stand in the way of ASI in theory, but it has been my belief all along that ASI are using this opportunity to get rid of BMG from the picture for good. Ask yourself, would ASI rather JV with CAP at Hawsons with or without Hillam? In my eyes, this whole court case has nothing to do with money as much as it is to do with ASI getting what they want, and that is a clear path to cashflow out of Hawsons in 3 years time.

You mention that definitive news is what will break this downtrend. Couldn't agree more. Sadly, CAP cannot comment on a progressing court case, so we might not see this problem wrap up for good until perhaps even Q4; but there is absolutely no reason at all why Nick cannot come out and reiterate to the market what CAP's strategy is going forth in the even that BMG collapses (highly likely). Nick need not even mention that BMG are in the courts if he is not allowed to.

Just a thought. I reckon that the exploration target at Hughenden is going to be pretty huge going by a bit of novice map extrapolation. For example each tenement is approximately 1000km^2 in area, and its fair to say that a target upwards of 3Bt would be fair for each tenement if you take a look at how GUF have outlined the target for their White Mountain prospect. Given that 3 tenements are being readily drilled, and there is upwards of 15 tenements in the entire prospect, perhaps this news will take the market's mind of Hawsons for a while and break the downtrend? I sure hope so!!
