JC- the problem with that theory is that Suncorp is just a bank with an insurance arm dangling by it's side.
you only make a takeover offer if you can get it dirt cheap.
trouble is this- if BOQ sinks then SUN will not have enough ballast to stay afloat anyway.
ps- i do all my banking at BOQ and Suncorp with term deposits in both, but not one dollar in shares.
am i just crazy or worse still, a lateral thinker?
