I don't think 'they' set about buying or selling with the sole purpose of rearranging the ASX200 or any other list. They just trade the trade, short or long, whenever opportunity presents and were happy to buy around these price levels in Jan and Feb. - see chart. There have been heavier than usual falls across the board because of macro factors and we won't see any meaningful movement until after this Brexit nonsense is resolved.
