I think NLX has realised that. The only way to survive is to manufacture its brand name products off shore then sell them through its distribution network here. As I posted two days ago, NLX recently set up an auto parts company in a special economic zone (where all companies receive tax concession) in China. It's a good move (although it's a bit too late).
Another quick way to make profit is to buy quality products overseas then stick Nylex's lables on the products (just like Woolie's homebrand products).
