Good morning Tommy
In an ideal world I would have always preferred that STO extinguish all debt, however opportunities need to be taken when they present themselves. STO is in the best position it’s been in for a while now not just because of better management but largely due to World circumstance, you can crunch all the numbers you want, analyse the balance sheet, be vocal on what you think is a poor decision but fate has played a big part in where we are today and that’s where I don’t understand the fixation with dividends, posters seem to get excited with the thought that a div of 5c-10c may come our way soon but the SP has been going up and down that much each day recently. I hold my view that I prefer debt to be paid down and build a strong balance sheet for the next time fate plays a hand, if this strategy was employed and all the time that growth can be achieved the the div would be reflected in the SP in the foreseeable future,
Cheers
