I still think that the takeover will happen at some point.
At the moment I am however more interested in another development. What do you guys think about the possibility of VAH joining Star Alliance? VAH's strongest partner is SIA. It also partners with AIZ, Air Berlin, United, South African and has recently joined up with Air Canada. All members of http://www.staralliance.com/en/member-airlines
Now that Etihad will codeshare with Lufthansa (and may even take equity) it would make a lot of sense for VAH to collaborate with Lufthansa too and perhaps even join the club (Star Alliance).
Any views?
