    @Cutloss, I agree in that I was also expecting more, but perhaps this is still work in progress? The loans etc. have not changed much compared to previous HY and finance cost are actually a little higher at $93.4m. With all the cash that they now have they will probably be able to reduce these finance cost to something around $60m in the next HY. Over a year that would save them $66m p.a.?
    If you are looking for positives in the HY report, try these two:
    1. Net assets attributable to owners of the Company per ordinary share ($) 0.22 --> current SP is 3c less than that and hence VAH potentially undervalued?
    2. The cost of the withdrawal of Tigerair Australia’s Bali operations does not have an impact on the Group’s Interim Financial Report for the half year ended 31 December 2016 and is not currently expected to have a material impact on the Group‘s underlying earnings.
