Sorry. Noodly you'll remember the west coast iron sands if my memory is reliable. We have tiwai point which produces rich iron ore. The othe weird thing about the south island iron sands is they are rich in gold in some areas. The southern alps has shed tonnes of aluvial gold down the rivers much of wich has churned into the finest of grains mingling with that ironnsand. Im thinking a lot of silica might be a negative.
