Quite a few have made some headway and have found a few magnetite bearing sand deposits around the 10-15% Fe
mark. Some of these have done scoping studies and PFS and most of them are showing very low OPEX and
CAPEX figures.
I understand that some companies have been investigating coastal deposits of iron sand with magnetite, that they feel should be able to be offloaded directly onto ships after processing off shore.
I further understand that such deposits with iron sand containing magnetite grading 10% or more Fe will become an
environmental hazard with the gradual increase of water temperatures through global warming.
Have any of you heard similar reports, if so could you share info.
I would also be grateful if you could advise me of any iron sand projects that are currently being investigated.
If some interest is shown I will share my research with those willing to contribute,

Lincoln azx has a good iron sand project namely MBA Delta, worth a look.
Come on Lincoln/Guys I'm sure you are aware of a few more iron sand projects. I am aware of others but I am yet to run the ruler over them, I will release more info if I receive more help.
