A report in the Wall Street Journal overnight confirms that the Vale Board have forced the CEO and three other senior executives to stand aside. This came about following a recommendation from authorities to the company.
Vale shares will remain suspended from the stock exchange until Wednesday. Speculation is rife that Vale faces months of litigation and a potential fine of up to $US 7billion.
