At last some one with a bit of common sense! The whole MRRT was nothing but political BS by Twiggy and the walking piece of blubber! The spectacle of them marching in Perth chanting Ban the Tax was pretty demeaning. And then to rub salt in the wound, they challenged the validity in the courts. This is for a tax that the big boys were paying but FMG would not be liable for years to come! And in the mean time, taking their eyes off business they went over budget by $1.2 Billion Dollars.
Anybody with half a brain would have realised that it was purely political BS because when WA and QLD put up their royalty charges not one murmur from our movie star chairman. So according to Twiggy he would rather pay a tax in the form of a royalty which is based on production rather than a tax for which he is not liable that is based on profit. And they call this guy a hero!
