I try to simplify how I understand stroke prevention and stroke treatment options: Aspirin blocks blood clotting, statin blocks obstruction of arteries by cholesterol plaques, iron chelators work on the cells of the arteries ( their mitochondria) so that the wall of the artery stays smooth ( Dr. Sinclair's research) and do not let cholesterol plaques to form on their surface and iron chelators also generally improve the energy supply of neural cells so that they are not so vulnerable in case of stroke. Iron chelators help also to remove extra iron developed to the stroke area by bleeding.
So stroke prevention and treatment will in future be indications for iron chelation, hope with PBT434.
