    I've been spending this evening trying to work out why my Iress wasn't working on Google Chrome. This involved me reinstalling Chrome, updating Adobe Flash, messing around with the plugin settings etc...

    It turns out that Google and Mozilla have stopped supporting the use of flash because of security concerns.
    The following article discusses it;

    Iress uses flash in Chrome so this is why it has not been working. This may be the case for Firefox as well but I'm not sure. I have resorted to going back to Internet Explorer to use Iress because IE uses Java for Iress.
