It all depends on your trading strategy. If you are cash poor than grabbing 30-40% stag every time you get into IPO is a good decision: you build your cash reserves, have a good sleep at night and move on onto the next project knowing you can increase your investment and risk. The likelihood of scorring a multibagger is lower than seeing your investment losing its value if the Ipo does not take off. Statistically I have been better off selling on day one or within the first week than holding onto a stock for longer. Once the hype is finished most of the stocks drop from their height substantially.
