Even though there isn't as much heat down here, this speculative market environment is actually pretty normal.
Todays IPO performance was also pretty normal to those who have been in the markets for years. And we witnessed typical Pattos flipping IMO.
The XEC (Emgering Company Index) has spent most of the last 4 - 5 years below 1,200. It's currently sitting just above 1,200.
Many thought that the big XEC run from March 2016 to 1,400 was normal.
This is the market most have got used to. Big IPO's and millions being poured into specs everyday for almost a year.
The good stocks will continue increase in value (although much slower) and won't reach the wild validations previously seen until hot money flows back in.
News flow is generally always positive within the first 6 months of listing and anyone who bought today should hopefully be able to sell higher.
More patience and a different mindset is required for this market IMO.
