Not positive, but I think your Aussie CDI's are like an ADR (American Depository Receipt). The ADR's in North America are offered by the financial firms that provide the stock and clearing service for a small fee. Appears to me the ASX exchange, itself, is playing this role and not up to speed quite yet.
