Why would a cane grower sell his cane waste to an organic fertilizer manufacturer (like SOI) when in the future he will want to make sure he keeps as many expensive nutrients in his system as is humanly possible? A nutrient conserved is one you don't have to replace (at great cost these days). Potash and phosphate prices are going much higher ...
