Its that time of the year again ... time to go hunting for elephants.
As I enjoy researching the geology of the tenement areas of exploration companies, and see this as a way to contribute something which may be of value to others who are invested here, I thought a new thread to build on this theme would be a good way of bringing together thoughts and ideas on our exploration target geology in more detail, and potentially provide a means to understand and assess drill and assay results and their possible implications for further exploration, as they are made available by the company.
As a starting point i have posted below on IOCG systems. A lot is said about how MEP tend to chase the larger undiscovered mineral systems. Below are some quite significant confirmations of this, given our tenements around Eloise near Cloncurry. IOCG deposits are capable of containing huge resource sizes, such as Olympic Dam and Prominent Hill. Both of the below sources directly reference Cloncurry and the area within which we are conducting further drilling within days.
