What has bothered me about the sale was not as much the sale itself, but the lack of value the market has given this company after the announcement.
Ofcourse like most holders the sale or better saying the price, was a bit of a dissapointment, but the long wait and high risk of developing this resource is imho probably outwaying this.
The CEO is right imho, by saying that we shareholders will get more value out of EXS thru the selling strategy and EXS going back to drill out more high grade resources, and we know they have them.
The other side of the coin would have been, share dillution , debt, long wait for return of capital, a relative high production cost, possible delays in construction/permits, first production hick-ups and last but not least the copper price and the strength of the Australian dollar.
I have seen it all before with Equinox that the transformation from explorer to producer is mostly not a smooth path.
So I agree with our CEO on the sale, but do not agree with how the market values this company right now.
good luck
