One of the findings is that one in four accountants intend to start using a new SMSF software provider in the next 12 months, with over half intending to use a cloud-based solution.
From 1 July, 2016 accountants must be registered to give SMSF advice to clients. A large number of practitioners are choosing not to register & will instead refer their clients elsewhere for that advice. Dealer groups & individuals are setting themselves up to provide this service. This allows Class to market too & administer a smaller number of clients who each have a larger number of portfolios under management.
