Hi CAm
I appreciate your wise and expert comments on many threads.
I too like Coffey, but I look more at the business than at the numbers.
I see that it used to be a good business, became one of many companies which get carried away and believe their own success/ hype in expanding by acquisition whilst at the same time losing touch with the real world of their customers as No1.
The new CEO track is to go back to basics again and there are signs that this is succeeding (eg less staff turn, and staff is the key in expert advice business).
SO assuming he gets it somewhere close to where they were, then profit and shareprice will follow.
Short term it sounds like the market for their services is making it tougher for him, so the journey will be longer than I expected 6 months back.
Less interest are sure going to help. As an aside,There must be some math to do with interest rates, and % profit that goes on interest to determine the improvement(or not)in eps from more shares but less interest from a CR, but my brains 'too much in holiday mode to handle.
